Welcome Hayley to the Rock Bus |

 Please welcome Hayley James who joins the rock bus team as the youth worker. Hayley was previously youth worker at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Merseyside. Hayley will lead the youth work on the bus - developing new ideas, enthusing volunteers. Please pray for Hayley, that the Holy Spirit will empower her to work with the many volunteers involved in the bus encourgaging all to show the love of Jesus to the youth who use the bus and to share the good news of Jesus often.

Sailing Fellowship Youth Club |

The Sailing Fellowship would like to consider an extension of its activities involving young people aged 12 to 18.
The Bright Harbour Club. An extension of the Aspull Methodist Church Sailing Fellowship seeking to serve young people. Most the adult helpers are likely to be Christians and will be happy to talk about their faith but will never push their beliefs on anyone. The chief aim of the club is to serve young people by listening to their needs and wishes and providing experience opportunities where appropriate. |

Ladies Breakfast - 9am Saturday 6 September 2008 |
 All women are welcome to enjoy breakfast and share in a time of worship and fellowship at Aspull Methodist Church. Food is served form 9am on Saturday 6 September, Followed by a time of worship and continued fellowship after the meal. The church is on Wigan Road just 50 yards towards Wigan from the roundabout in the centre of Aspull. |

 Join God's people at Whitley for multimedia worship in an informal, café style at 7pm on Sunday 14 September. Everyone is welcome.
Whitley Methodist is on Spencer Road just before the railway bridge a couple of hundred yards from the Cherry Gardens roundabout. The church is down below the road on a short slip road off Spencer Road. |

Men's Breakfast - 8am Saturday 20 September 2008 |

Aspull Methodist Church invite all men to their monthly Men's Breakfast, 20 September 2008. You are welcome whether or not you attend church, come and enjoy a cooked breakfast followed by a time of worship in song and prayer. Breakfast is served from 8am. Aspull Methodist is 50 yards from the crossroads at Aspull, towards Wigan. Men's breakfast is usually on the second Saturday of the month, for September only it is on the third Saturday as many are away at Capernwray for the second Saturday |
